Dr. Mackenzie Biggers, an upstate New York native, completed her undergraduate studies at SUNY Oneonta and received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) at Salus University, graduating cum laude with a clinical excellence citation in primary care optometry.

Dr. Biggers has gained extensive experience working in various optometric settings, including the Albany-Stratton VA Medical Center, Northport VA Medical Center, The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, and Broward Eye Care Associates in Florida. She completed an Ocular Disease Residency with a focus on Glaucoma and Retina at the White River Junction VA Medical Center.

Dr. Biggers is an active member of the New York State Optometric Association (NYSOA) and the American Academy of Optometry (AAO). Her dedication to professional growth has earned her recognition from the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society and the SUNY Oneonta Beta Beta Beta National Biological Honor Society.

Dr. Ryan Winters

Dr. Ryan Winters is a third-generation optometrist with a rich family history in vision care. He earned his degrees from SUNY Adirondack and the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where he obtained his Doctorate of Optometry.

With nearly two decades of experience, Dr. Winters has achieved clinical honors in various specialties, including geriatric care, glaucoma, external eye disease, and pediatric and emergency eye care. He has been an active member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the New York State Optometric Association (NYSOA), serving as Past President of the Albany Chapter.

Dr. Winters’ specialties include:

Dr. Winters is committed to blending traditional, patient-centered care with the latest technological advancements. He was the first in the area to introduce cutting-edge treatments such as Neurolens and virtual field headsets, continually seeking innovative solutions to improve patient care.
